How To Display The Windows Version On Your Desktop In XP?

Wanna to display the Windows version on your desktop? Try this registry hack using which you can do it easily, follow these steps:

Go to start> run> Type regedit
Go to the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Control Panel\ Desktop.
On the right-hand side, locate "PaintDesktopVersion" and double-click it.
In the pop-up window, change the data to 1 and click OK.
Restart or Logoff your computer, you will see windows version on bottom right side on your desktop. Change the value to 0 for hiding it.
