Hello friends! Some among you don't wanna to keep their facebook messages history saved. Mostly users put their chat history to archived, but it would not delete your entire conversation. Archiving a conversation will hide it from your messages view, while deleting a conversation from messages permanently removes the entire conversation and its history. Follow these steps for permanently deleting your facebook messages:
If you have not yet archived your message:
- Login to facebook.
- Go to Messages tab.
- Open any message.
- It will show you entire conversation.
- You will see Actions drop down menu on right side of conversation.
- Select Delete Messages... from menu.
- Here you can delete selected messages or all messages.
If you have archived your message:
- Go to Messages tab.
- Scroll down, click on Archived under View.
- All other steps are same with above procedure.

Ok. I have deleted all messages between me, and someone I want to be dissasociated from, but still..if this person sends me a message, or if I sent this person a message...this action will result in opening all the deleted messages. Right?...please correct if me I´m wrong. I am wishing I am wrong..
[Reply]When ur frnd will msg u again, then it will not show deleted messages, n if u have deleted conversation with any one, then messages wud be delete from ur messages history, not from ur frnd's messages history

@OS,, you are wrong, after deleting, u will see that conversion has been deleted from sent messages too!!

[Reply]There's a way to delete all messages at once, or messages 30 days old for example, by using a service called fbsweeper. I used it and it saved me a lot of hassle going through each one to delete them. Have a look, http://fbsweeper.com
[Reply]I tried deleting messages through archive, and you have to do it one message at a time, and that is very time consuming. I found a website called fbsweeper.com that will do it for you. It worked really well for me.

[Reply]It works. If you delete the messages then go and send a message the conversation history is gone. Just tried it. It only saves the history if you hit "Archive" instead of "Delete".
