What if you wish to trick your friends by showing your own information in My Computer properties, follow these simple steps:
- Open notepad.
- Paste the following:
- [General] Manufacturer=”Company Name”
- Model=Intel® Core™2 Duo
- [Support Information]
- Line1= Phone number
- Line2= Email or website
- Save it as "oeminfo.ini" (without quotes) in C:\Windows\System32
- Pick any bmp image file & save it in C:\Windows\System32 as “oemlogo.bmp (without quotes).
- That's all. Now check My Computer properties.
