Sometimes people face automatically disk checking while Windows startup and it annoys them. But here's a way to overcome from this issue, follow these simple steps:
- Go to start> run> Type regedit
- Go to the path HLM\ System\ CurrentControlSet\ Control\ Session Manager.
- Here, the default value for BootExecute is autocheck autochk *.
- Run the command chkntfs /x c: in command prompt (For if your system start-up and do disk checking of C drive). It would modify the registry entry to autocheck autochk /k:c *
Note: c: is the drive letter in chkntfs /x c: - Restart the computer and now it would not ask for disk checking again.
